- Oversee and administer multiple recreation program areas including Fitness/Sports, Aquatics, Adult/Senior, and Youth Enrichment. - Manage four full-time staff members and provide oversight and coordination for over 200 part-time members of the programming team. - Maintain accountability for goal setting within each department and spearhead initiatives as a change leader at RecPlex. - Drive significant results, including the following: 54% growth in number of camps over three summers; 73% increase in overall membership in 2023; and 89% increase in sponsorship dollars (up $25,630 since 2021).- Develop and implement the strategic plans; determine department goals, marketing, and community events.- Establish industry standards in a variety of areas including program objectives, production timelines, program evaluations, updating policies, training rubrics, and creating a timeline for accreditation standard goals.- Oversee all marketing and large-scale events.- Expanded brochure from 16 pages to 36.- Created two signature community events with over 6,000 people.- Manage all social media, marketing, and brochure production. - Oversee Part-Time social media Team Supervisor.- Revitalized the signature “Woodland Lights” event; employed a team-oriented approach to maximize department engagement.

Elected to the Board of the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association. Nominated to serve on the executive committee in 2023 to serve as the Conference liaison. Currently running for 2nd term.

- Oversaw an extensive Summer Camp program serving over 1,800 youth each summer encompassing oversight of four year-round part-time employees, as well as 38 full-time seasonal camp staff.- Planned, facilitated, and managed community events such as the Mayor’s Tree Lighting, Park Grand Openings, MLK Day of Light, and more.- Coordinated operations of the Kettering Recreation Complex as designated Facility Supervisor on duty.- Acted as Staff Liaison for the Partners for Healthy Youth Board, focusing on community-wide connections and initiatives.- Created Active Adult programming (Adult Egg Hunt, Cooking, etc.)- Led Giving Tree Program with Kettering City Schools providing over 500 students’ supplemental Christmas giving.

- Restructured, managed, and administered Youth Sports; increased program participation 100% in two years.- Increased community outreach and partnerships with schools to offer “Asset Athletes” as pilar for character development in sports.- Improved cost recovery and successfully doubled course offerings.

Coordinated the Kettering Youth Leadership Academy, facilitated the Kettering Youth Council, and supervised the After School Enrichment Program for eight Kettering Elementary Schools, 48 clubs, three sessions a year, with over 1,300 students each session. Implemented the low-income “Camp Fun-tastic” summer program.

Graduate Co-Op program with Bowling Green State University. Developed Master's Project Plan for BG Parks and Recreation to become credited by the American Camping Association. Created Summer camp staff training plans, checklists, and accountability measures for seasonal camp staff.
