2021-2024 Summer | 3 kids aged 4, 6, and 8 (ASD)2022-2024 School Year | 6 kids aged 3, 5 (ADHD), 7, 7, 7 (CP & EDS), and 9 (ADHD)I provided attentive, adaptive care to children with diverse needs including Autusm Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficity Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). I planned and engaged in developmentally apropriate activities, games, and outings to stimulate physical, cognitive, and social development while maintaining a routine to support needs of the children. I maintained open and effective communication with parents about daily activities, concerns, and milestones. I provided attentive and nurtutring care to children ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. I assited in homeschool and educational activiites, fostering a positive learning envuronment for all children. I problem solved different ways of connecting to the children with developmental delays and/or disorders

Over the summer, I created, promoted, and organized registration for 200+ kids aged 4-14. I formed a training plan for 3 different skill-level groups that are developmentally age-appropriate with different physical focuses twice a week for 8 weeks to keep children engaged. I facilitated communication between the city parks district, parents/guardians, volunteer coaches, and Up and Running in a meaningful way. I sought out and trained volunteers (high school age to adult parents) committed to developing and influencing youth.

Players Box is an initiative designed to help elementary thru college-aged kids handle the pressures of arts, academics, and athletics. During a gap year that I took after high school, I had a variety of roles as it related to the program. I assisted in the development of Players Box handbook to create efficiency in the spread of the program (the process of editing, publishing, and copyrighting for off-campus use). I managed all on and off-site Players Box sessions and programs (working with high school athletic teams, middle and high school honors societies, various aged club athletic teams, etc). I assisted in the expansion of the arts, academics, and athletics programs for both middle and high school students. I also assisted in the creation of the Players Box curriculum for elementary school. I led all off-site programs as an advocate and presenter. I created content and managed all Players Box social media and worked effectively with the Players Box team to further create opportunities for the program.
