As a mentee in the 2nd cohort of the FORvHER Tarheels Mentorship Program I was paired with a mentor in my field of interest. After monthly 1on1 meetings and group gatherings, I was able to gain valuable knowledge regarding career development. My mentor was pivotal in my transition from collegiate athletics to a professional career and inspired me to give back to collegiate athletics when I am able.

During my time at the Rams Club, I had the chance to learn and experience within many sectors within the department. I worked in season ticket allocation, recruitment of new members, stewardship, and worked on a creative project for the FORevHER Tarheels Initiative. In preparation for the 2022 Football season I assisted in contacting donors regarding annual donations, with our team accumulating $500,000 in revenue.

This May I completed all 5 levels of the Richard A Baddour Leadership Academy. As a transfer student, I was able to complete the 4 year program in its entirety in just 3 years time. I learned valuable leadership and mentorship skills that I hope to implement in my post collegiate pursuits.

While completing my second year of the Richard A Baddour Leadership Academy, I had the opportunity to serve as a mentor to the Navigate Program for freshman student athletes.

As a student-athlete at UNC-Chapel Hill, I had the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Summer Intensive. LSI is a two-month, summer certificate program. Programming consisted of ten buckets – with each bucket being worth a varying amount of credit. Buckets involved books, podcasts, TEDTalks, interviews, odyssey plans, online training, self assessments, pitch-in projects, and team projects. To complete the program, I had to fulfill each bucket and earn a minimum of 30 credits. Doing so was roughly equivalent to 30 hours of self-directed leadership development. Because of this – I feel ready to lead when it counts!
