Currently I am interning with the Prevention team at Bethany for Children and Families. As a team we go into local schools and teach curriculum or workshops on different topics such as sexual education (pregnancy prevention, STI testing and prevention), mental health, online safety, puberty, etc... We also have a Nurturing Young parents group for local teen parents that we connect with at least once a month to make sure they are getting the resources they need. Our main focus is making sure youth in our area is getting the information they need when it comes to their health, while giving them a safe outlet for questions and concerns.

I have served on the executive board for a year and a half and have assisted in organizing and executing various sorority events, including recruitment, philanthropy initiatives, and social gatherings.I have also coordinated a team of volunteers from within my sorority to work at a community service project with HAV LIFE Non-Profit, we volunteered at their Martini Shake Off Gala. I have also helped the sorority partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mississippi Valley to help fundraise for their organization.

I work a seasonal role at the Colorado Country Club as a food and beverage server. I run the snack bar as well as their beverage cart services.

Demonstrated strong commitment and dedication by participating on the college volleyball team for two years. I successfully managed time and prioritized responsibilities, resulting in a well-balanced academic and personal life.
