Senior Event Specialist
CurrentSynthesizing my experiences from engineering, event management, construction project management, and SaaS implementation work, I bring the technical and creative together as Exponent's Senior Event Specialist to:• Advise on event marketing strategies to determine the most impactful industry events for increasing Exponent's presence, identify sponsorships that drive stronger ROI, and create activations that attract and engage our target audience to meet with our consultant experts• Partner with thought leaders to showcase their technical expertise at industry events by securing speaking opportunities and identifying key committees to join and participate in• Lead weekly cross-functional meetings with content, graphic design, and event teams to coordinate the production of marketing assets, technical publications, digital promotions, and logistics for 70+ events per quarter• Oversee budget for events across industries and departments, ensuring that contracts, payment, and the process are executed on time and within budget• Pitch new activations for conference engagement to business managers and technical experts, customizing exhibit spaces, designing brand assets, and surfacing additional opportunities to spark engagement with community stakeholders
