Determination, commitment, and perseverance are skills that contributed to my success as a student. My high school experience was altered by the Covid-19 global pandemic, affecting my educational, emotional, and athletic endeavors. Although many students took time off from classes to relax, I utilized the pause of in-person high school classes as an opportunity to grow in my academic and professional career. During the lockdown, I chose to work as an essential worker, developed my customer service skills, and collaborated with management to share my perspective on processes and daily procedures.Despite the setback caused by the pandemic, I graduated from high school on schedule. I attained my Associate of Arts from Umpqua Community College six months later. I am on track to complete my Bachelor of Science in 2024 and my MBA in 2025.Being outgoing and confident in myself has helped me cultivate relationships and connect with others professionally and personally. I want to establish intercultural relationships to broaden my global understanding and ability to work alongside peers with varying perspectives.
