Observing the absence of inventory management systems tailored for Universities, I created a SaaS solution to ensure that the process of loaning or renting University-owned assets was easy, efficient, and most of all accountable. Including concepts such as insurance limits, late-return penalties, and course restrictions, administrators were able to ensure that all equipment was accounted for and entitled only to those who had the relevant course experience.Deployed in the cloud, both an administrative backend as well as a client-facing front-end were available, including integration with SMS and Email providers to ensure that notifications were timely and relevant.
