Participates in the stages from NPI to mass production. Include:1. Manage the Samsonite (Shenzhen) quality team and maintaining expected levels of high quality standards.2. Create a quality concept of “3P” vs. “inspecting quality” focusing on reducing the cost of quality and 8 wastes3. Build and maintain a positive network of relationships with customers & Market team and suppliers.4. Sets scope and establish mechanism to address customer complaints/issues globally5. Ensures raw materials & products comply with national & international standards, regulations , and customer specs6. Evaluate suppliers' quality assurance capabilities, identify corrective action needs and drive suppliers to improve quality management continuously.7. Conducting routine system audit, process audit, product audit at Supplier manufacturing sites to ensure conformance to procedures, identify possible quality risks, note continuous improvement opportunities and provide coaching on quality engineering best practices. 8. Identifying quality/technical issues at suppliers and driving resolution (closed loop corrective action - SCAR). 9.
