I am a PharmD and PhD by training, specializing in CMC and drug development after finishing my PhD. During my career, I have worked on several CMC programs from clinical into commercial phase as Sr. Scientist Pharmaceutics, CMC lead, CMC director and Sr CMC director. The CMC programs consist of oral delivery routes and alternative delivery routes such as pulmonary drug delivery through inhalation, retinal drug delivery through intravitreal injection and dermal drug delivery through topical applications onto wounds. In my different roles, I coordinate multiple CMC teams working on different development programs. Moreover, I am the CMC representative in project teams creating the link between the project goals and the CMC goals. I have written and reviewed the CMC sections of clinical (IND/ IMPD) and commercial (NDA/MAA) submissions, and answered regulatory questions leading to several successful regulatory submissions. I am an open, motivated and results-driven professional. I enjoy content driven discussions with my CMC teams/ colleagues and I am comfortable with taking decisions and full responsibility for delivering project goals.
