Job Responsibilities : • Provide answers to all technical questions raised by the Client or the Sales Department during the inquiry stage.• Attend meetings with Clients to discuss project design requirements.• Provide product selection recommendations to the Sales Department.• Review all submitted inquiry documents to understand the application requirements and design parameters.• Coordinate with the Sales Department to provide any missing design parameters or projects documents.• Coordinate with the Costing Department to understand the cost impact of the various product options and to select the most cost-effective and optimized product.• Issue Quotation Technical Documents, Calculation Sheets, Design Envelopes, Pipe Data Sheets, and Technical Comments• Define the qualification requirements of Fiberglass products for ongoing projects.• Review, and approve the qualification test drawings.• Coordinate with the QC Department to execute the qualification tests as required by the Client.• Perform a technical review of received Sales Orders to ensure the proper product selection and execution.• Issue the Stress Analysis input data, envelopes, mechanical properties, and the temperature.• Coordinate with the Projects Department and attend project meetings to resolve all technical issues prior to or during the execution of projects.• Provide answers to technical questions raised by the Production, QC, and Site Services Departments.• Attend technical meetings with the Stress Engineer to resolve technical issues for ongoing projects.• Review the stress analysis report and recommendations prepared by the Stress Engineer for ongoing projects.• Review and understand all the latest International Standards applicable to Fiberglass Products.• Review and understand all the latest Key End User and Client Specifications applicable to Fiberglass Products.• Prepare Technical Comments on all Key End User and Client specifications.

 Assist the Engineering Manager in planning the engineering activities for both upcoming and ongoing projects. Supervise the execution of the Engineering activity schedules within the allocated budget. Distribute all the latest relevant Know-How documents to the Unit Engineering Team and ensure their effective use. Supervise the training for all members of the Engineering Team. Propose solution in case of difficulty in preparing drawings according to client requirement. Evaluates vender bids and drawings to ensure compliance with specifications. Prepare illustrations, sketches, required for the Technical Proposal documents Attend meeting with client & provide details and feasibility to their requirement. Review and check all drawings prepared by the Unit Engineering Team. Assist engineers with initial design and final design solutions on a project. Review client drawings and extract Bill of Material/Quantity (BOM/BOQ) for production and invoice. Prepare project sketches or details as required. Prepare project isometric drawings in compliance with the design provided by the Technical Engineer. Prepare Shop Floor Drawings (SFD) for fabrication. Inform the Engineering Manager of the status of all engineering activities and deadlines and ensure that any delays or changes to the engineering activities are communicated to the Engineering Manager. Attend site meeting whenever needed to discuss about modification/re-routing as per site condition. Propose solutions to the fabrication in case of manufacturing error.
