I was also in charge of all interface activities, responsible for participating in any relevant meeting, and supporting management where required.Here, I was involved in 3 projects, they are:1. Sengkang LNG Production Plant and Export Terminal in Keera district, Wajo residence, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. When running, it will be the first modular LNG facilities in Indonesia (provide detailed engineering design deliverables).The plant consists of 4 liquefaction trains with 0.5 MTPA capacity each (with each has its own mixed refrigerant compressor), 2 gas pretreatment system (water and acid removal), 1 LNG tank with 2 transfer pump and 1 recirculation pump, BOG compressor, loading arm system, and utility system (like air compressor, water treatment plant, waste management system, gas flaring system, 150kV incoming switchyard, etc.).2. Pagbilao LNG Hub Terminal and Power Station in Pagbilao, the Philippines (provide instrument engineering technical assistances).The plant consists of LNG regasification plant (includes loading arms, LNG tank, BOG compressor, LNG LP and HP pumps, LNG regasification system, gas metering, etc.) and power plant (150 MW rated gas turbine generator, and auxiliary system). 3. Booster Compressor Provision for Kampung Baru central processing plant (CPP), owned by Energy Equity Epic Sengkang (EEES) Ltd. located in Sengkang district, Wajo residence, South Sulawesi (provide detailed engineering design deliverables). -
Instrument & Electrical Project EngineerTotal May 2014 - Oct 2015Balikpapan, IndonesiaI was assigned as Instrument & Electrical Project Engineer for Bekapai 2B Development project, the last big scale brownfield project of TEPI in Mahakam Block, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. For me, this project was very challenging because it has to be done on the oldest platforms of TEPI in Mahakam Block (more than 30 years old platforms) in the simultaneous operation with production. The tie-in and integration of new technology to the existing old electrical, instrumentation and control system have to be done seamlessly with avoiding any shutdown as much as possible.The project scope includes the extension of 5 offshore platforms (4 wellheads, 1 CPP) and the provision of 12 km gas pipeline to accommodate the gas and condensate flow from 8 additional wellheads. It includes the upgrading on instrumentation, control, and electrical system. My position as Instrument and Electrical project engineer played a vital role in assisting Project Manager to ensure technical interfaces among project, procurement, operation, commissioning, start-up, contractor and vendor are controlled and synchronized.I was also responsible to resolve all technical and interface problems at site and bring to the higher meeting for the resolution if necessary. On daily basis, I was responsible for the evaluation of engineering, procurement, construction, installation and approval of deliverables from the contractor. It included technical queries evaluation and approval and avoiding cost impact whenever possible. -
