I love to help people and I happen to do that through marketing. As a freelance writer-turned-digital media consultant, my passion for storytelling and driving awareness through powerful campaigns is fueled by my love for working on behalf of others, especially small businesses (SMB).My goal is to solve SMB’s biggest marketing challenges - building and managing their digital assets. Over forty percent of small businesses in America do not have a website or a strategic digital presence. My goal is to get more businesses online to continue fueling our economy, without breaking the bank. With over 5 years of brand marketing experience, I've equipped small businesses with effective tools to compete in the saturated market of social media. I help them tap into their unique voice, raise their brand awareness and deliver traffic to their website, to boost their bottom line. I’ve worked with Verizon, driving awareness of their SMBs initiative through event planning and community building. I’ve curated events with the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, to create mutually beneficial partnerships with artists and creatives. I’ve also helped over 30 brands build their messaging, style guides, marketing strategies, and overall business structure. There’s never an end to education in marketing. To enhance my own knowledge, I obtained a Master's degree Northeastern University in Digital Media Management to provide my clients with the most cutting-edge resources, tools, and expertise. Interestingly enough I’m now a professor in the same program I graduated from. I’m most proficient in brand building, content production, website design, and entrepreneurship. In addition to digital marketing, I am a die-hard youth advocate, who loves to give back and be the change I want to see. I’ve mentored the brightest students in the city of Boston and have advised hundreds more over the years. The future of marketing is tech, and the future of tech is the people that will enhance it. By working 1:1 with young people, I’m able to get them more involved in STEM careers and prepare for their digital-first futures!Take a look around my page, find something interesting? Let me know! I can’t wait to hear from you - gold@adebukola.com.
