Throughout my nearly three-decade-long professional journey, I have embarked on an array of roles and responsibilities, each contributing to my skill set and expertise.My career commenced at the Excel Professional Centre, Ibadan in 1994, where I assumed the role of Registrar and Head of Administration. Concurrently, I served as a Lecturer, imparting knowledge in disciplines such as Financial Management, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Taxation to aspiring accountancy professionals. My career trajectory led me to Aneni Dairo and Co. in 1998, where I took on the role of an Audit Officer.In March 1999, I transitioned to Chartered Bank plc, where I honed my banking operations skills. Within a span of three years, I rose to the position of Operations Manager. My tenure at the bank also saw me spearhead the establishment of an award-winning branch in Ile-Ife, Osun State, between 2003 and 2005. Subsequently, I ventured into management consulting at B. Adedipe Associates Limited and RMS Investment Trust Limited from 2005 to 2006. This experience exposed me to critical facets of business management, including human resources management, recruitment, learning and development, strategic planning and management, and business research.In 2010, I joined The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers as Director / Head of Education and training. Collaborating with my team, I elevated the institute's examination and training standards to a premier level. In 2013, I assumed the role of Acting Registrar and CEO and was subsequently confirmed as Registrar and CEO in 2014, a position I held with distinction for seven years until July 2021, when I completed my maximum two tenures in the role.I am honored to be a Fellow of both The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, an Associate of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK, and a Member of The Association of Certified International Investment Analysts. I also hold bachelor's degrees in Applied Accounting and Agric Extension & Rural Sociology, MSc. degrees in Finance and Investment and Agric Economics, and a Ph.D. in Finance.My dedication to excellence has been recognized through prestigious awards, including the Chevening Scholarship from the UK government, the Excellent Leadership Award from the CIS, the Top Postgraduate and Educational Trust Awards from The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, UK, and the CFA (UK) Award for Outstanding Investment Research, among others.
