Delivering support to Rheumatology Clinical Trials through networking and working closely alongside Consultants, Research fellows and Research Nurses. I am the first point of contact with Rheumatology patients who are part of the trial under the care of the Principal Investigator. I work closely with leading, highly reputable Rheumatology Consultants specialising in Biologic treatments, who are Principal Investigators for these trials. The duties and responsibilities entailed in this position allows me to augment my skills, knowledge and experiences in clinical research. My duties and responsibilities include -Screening and recruitment of patients for clinical trials by conducting and coordinating all their assessments to ensure eligibility.Monitoring patient pathways and ensuring data quality is sufficiently obtained by documenting all source data. Parts of my responsibilities also include maintenance of ISF, TMF, completing of CRFs, relevant documentations and handling of queries during trial monitoring inspections, including MHRA government inspections, Quality Assurance Monitoring. I have gained knowledge and experiences in ICH-GCP, I am able to implement this into practice since my duties and responsibilities include working with highly confidential and patient identifiable data. In supporting trials patients and their relatives through their care, I liaise closely with the consultant and SpR, who are able to offer a solutions to medical related issues.
