I am Adeel, an aerospace and electrical engineer with expertise in flight dynamics, simulations, guidance, navigation, controls, and optimization. My academic foundation was laid at the Institute of Space Technology, Pakistan, where I earned my bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering with Magna Cum Laude honors and received the Vice Chancellor's Gold Medal for the best final year project. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in electrical engineering at Memorial University of Canada, supported by a fully-funded scholarship.As a graduate research and teaching assistant at Memorial University, I am developing model-based optimal waypoint guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for drones and helicopters. In addition to my core work, I am currently exploring the challenges in forest management and search and rescue (SAR) operations, particularly in dense forest environments, as part of my research. This project aims to enhance drone-based solutions for these complex scenarios.My professional experience includes a stint as a Control Design Engineer at Turkish Aerospace, where I contributed to the TF-X (KAAN) Fighter Jet Technology Demonstrator project, and as an Assistant Manager (Technical) in Pakistan's public-sector aerospace industry, focusing on nonlinear flight simulators and control design for various aerospace systems.My technical proficiencies extend to flight dynamics, modeling, robust control theory, nonlinear controls, model predictive control, data-driven control, and an interest in machine learning.
