A 25-year track record leading multi-disciplinary teams in applying research-based solutions to our client’s strategic and operational challenges. My background in architecture, new media, and sociology positions me to lead diverse teams in meeting our client's objectives. I bring an experienced perspective to bridge the gap between concept and execution to ensure that consultant and client teams are empowered to accomplish their goals. My background is with notable firms, Mancini Duffy, Rockwell Group and Landor, developing expertise that crosses Retail, Healthcare, Transportation, Workplace and Hospitality industries. I'm adept at multi-disciplinary programs that combine architecture, industrial design, graphic design, video and interactive multimedia. Notable projects include the recently completed NYPD's Counter-terrorism Task Force headquarters, interior and media installation for jetBlue’s terminal 5 at JFK airport; the media facade and capstone for Barclay’s 745 7th Avenue; the master plan for Chelsea Market's Phase 2; a recycling system for New York's Central Park, and the way-finding system for the 16-acre WTC/Westfield/PATH district at the World Trade Center. These projects have won numerous awards including the Cannes Gold Lion, International Design Award, AIA Project Award and multiple SEGD and GOOD Design awards and is included in the Smithsonian’s National Design Museum. I'm also a co-founder of the MFADT in Design + Technology program at Parsons School of Design, where I've taught for over 30 years. I also helped create The Lab at Rockwell Group; co-founded Gowanus By Design a community design advocacy, and served as a member of the EPA’s Gowanus Community Advisory Group.
