- Using Scala and Akka, built a scalable, robust, fault tolerant system for throttling orders to meet the strict requirements set by the Ticketmaster Archtics API.- Served as a champion for automated testing, and wrote suites of unit and functional tests to improve robustness and reduce regressions. The APIs of Fevo's partners have a large number of nuanced and idiosyncratic failure modes, so improving testing was crucial to Fevo's success.- Led the effort to make Fevo's cart more scalable - as part of a team of 2 engineers, raised the maximum number of active users supported on Fevo's site at one time from 1,000 to 50,000 by increasing efficiency and introducing layers of caching.
