YOUNGO is the Children and Youth Constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).YOUNGO is a platform and network consisting of children and youth organizations, and activists, striving to empower youth to formally bring our voices up to the international climate change negotiations facilitated by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.I am currently working with two of the principal departments within YOUNGO:- Adaptation Working Group- Action for Climate EmpowermentI Contribute to the development of official statements, provide technical and policy inputs to negotiations and engage with decision-makers at the UN climate change conferences, and promote youth participation in climate change projects at local and national levels.

UNIFY, or the United International Federation of Youth, is the official youth constituency of the Water and Climate Coalition (WCC), hosted by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). At UN1FY, our goal is to steer global projects so that young people can take part in the WCC process in a meaningful way. We also aim to bring the voice of youth to water and climate-related UN gatherings.

Topic: Effect of Submergence Stress on the Protein Content in Rice " Oryza sativa and Oryza glaberrima" in Gwagwalada.In this study, twenty (20) rice genotypes were collected from the Africa rice (Ibadan station) at the international institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Ibadan, Oyo state. They were planted for two weeks after which they were submerged for another two (2) weeks and de-submerged for one (1) week. Submergence stress was assessed on the percentage protein content of rice plants. The results showed that IR64 SUB-1 genotype had the highest percentage protein two weeks later than NERICA L-53 and L-52 with 83.33%, CG I4 and FARO 36 (ITA 222) both had 72.22%. The percentage protein accumulation of the rice plants was compared to that of the susceptible cultivars. IR 64 (SUB1) was the most tolerant with 88.89% followed by L-54 and L-5 with 83.33 and 83.36%, respectively. There was protein accumulation in submergency tolerant rice plants, showing varied percentage protein. The rice plant should be cultivated in areas which are not easily waterlogged and prone to flooding. The use of biotechnology should be adopted to incorporate in rice plants with sub1 gene which helps the rice plant to tolerate submergence.

(Hematology Department): I conducted laboratory tests on 5- 15 biological specimens per day using standard laboratory test strips and equipment, generating a total of 50 – 100 medical diagnosis per week. I was the only intern charged with carrying out phlebotomy for screening and subsequent blood donation, I also carried out blood grouping and genotype testing using Gel electrophoresis. Through my active involvement and work rate, I was able to demonstrate the ability to communicate test results effectively with 5 – 15 patients per day providing an exemplary quality of care.Demonstrated the ability to communicate test results effectively with 20+ patients per day, providing an exemplary quality care.Implementing medical best practices to deliver efficient result and improve overall laboratory safety, quality and standard up to 80%
