About Adel Benamara

Team lead in a dedicated computer vision team operating in the context of Industry 4.0. I work in the development and integration of advanced Machine Vision solutions for predictive maintenance and quality. I'm also passionate about software development & architectures and how to ship high-quality code in various programming languages C++/Python/JS/TS (Continuous integration/Unit testing and best practices) I graduated in 2018 with Ph.D. in computer vision. My research project was funded by an industrial company and has been deployed in several industrial applications. My work mainly focuses on the development of onboard video analytics on a network of smart cameras for real-time control of an industrial facility. I also worked on the vision module of object picking robot where both 2D and 3D sensors were used to detect objects in challenging situations. This project extensively relies on AI and Deep learning technology to achieve the required performance.I am highly interested in computer vision and machine learning applications and how we can bring cutting-edge research on those fields to the industry
