- Working collaboratively with the clinical team in the Emergency Department to recruit participants, obtain informed consent, and complete data collection/chart review through the completion of REDCap questionnaires- Conducting baseline and follow-up questionnaires in an interview-style format for remote studies- Help identify and enroll patients for approximately 12-14 studies- Manage and lead multiple enrollments at a time - Supervising and mentoring SEARCH volunteer trainees in the Emergency Department- Studies include but are not limited to, children with anaphylaxis, fractures, mental health crises, respiratory conditions (such as bronchiolitis and pneumonia), COVID-19 and severe infections.- Experience with Health Canada clinical trials

- Primarily responsible for completing administrative work necessary to collect revenue for preferred accommodation and telephone charges- Interview patient/family to obtain insurance information and signatures- Follow up and support as directed by Financial Services in recouping payment as required- Supporting processes related to preferred accommodation in all units that process or admit inpatients- Assist in training and education of Registration Associates/UCAs related to preferred accommodations
