About 18 months ago, I decided to take a break to realise one of my biggest dreams and hike the Pacific Crest Trail in the US (2,650 miles). I bought a backpack, a tent, hiking shoes and all the material I would need to thru-hike for several months and left my life in Madrid, Spain behind. I had to reajust plans because of international restrictions, but eventually I made it in 2021. After 3,000 miles hiking France, the Canary Islands and the USA, my feet are ready to retire and I to go back to work. I have 8 years of experience working in different branches of the tourism industry. I worked in hospitality, coordinated tailor-made holidays for one of the world's largest luxury DMCs, worked in sales for a high-end holiday rental company and managed a portfolio of property owners for one of the biggest vacation rental platforms.
