The NOISE (New Observatory of Social and Environmental Innovation) is a non-profit association that aims to raise awareness among students about sustainable development and social entrepreneurship. During a year, I led the ~50 students responsible of conferences, consulting missions for social entrepreneurs, on-campus activities, fundraising of microcredit, sales and promotion of responsible consumer products, impact journalism, and responsible career fairs. During my mandate, active members grew by 20%, and we introduced a new diversity in the team by integrating international students and helping an anglophone communication among the association. Under my leadership, we also reinforced collaboration with groups of ESSEC dedicated to sustainability: the sustainability branch of the BDE (Bureau des élèves), the ESSEC administration project "Together", and the students & alumni initiative "ESSEC Transition". As a president, I had to lead meetings, motivate and support the other 11 members of the board for their projects while monitoring and evaluating them, take care of relations with other presidents for the ~100 associations of the school through tact and diplomacy, represent the NOISE in front of the administration, and take care of legal and administrative responsibilities.
