►Designed and coordinated a six-week full time pre-matriculation academic preparation program for underserved students. Students participate in a stipend-supported 40-hour per week training supported by faculty, staff, alumni and peer mentors. Achieved 100% retention in first cohort, increased fellowship offers and received 100% positive student evaluations on preparation program.►Coached and empowered multicultural students on strategies for navigating and succeeding in graduate school and career management skills. ►Initiated, planned and implemented the first Minority Networking Event connecting students with minority professionals in public health. (Program evolved into annual school-wide event.)

►Pioneered the “Michigan International Careers Consortium,” uniting eight universities to organize the first International Job Fair. Project provided the scale needed to attract fifteen employers and more than 200 students.►Designed and presented cultural sensitivity training for international teaching assistants as part of a two-week orientation program. ►Developed and presented “Teaching Mathematics in the American Classroom” to international teaching assistants as part of a week long orientation program.
