Established in 2003 Adele Adams Associates has gone from strength to strength, and been involved in some really exciting projects. Offering nationally recognised and bespoke training and development programmes in HACCP and food safety, auditing, allergens, root cause analysis and hygiene controls. This is alongside consultancy on a range of topics including HACCP validation, HACCP methodology, certification standards and QMS development.Recent examples include:- National review and remodelling of HACCP system for leading UK dairy (14 manufacturing sites and one national depot)- Development and delivery of technical development programme for front line managers in one of the UK's largest food manufacturer. - Review of HACCP system and training programme for major UK care home group

Programme Leader for the world’s first MSc HACCP qualification.This unique programme pioneered the use of e-learning within postgraduate HACCP qualifications and was developed with the aid of an industry based Advisory Panel. Responsible for the marketing, development and delivery of key modules to several diverse student cohorts recruited from around the world. Whilst at Salford I was part of a team seconded by the Food Standards Agency to develop a new approach to HACCP in catering (Safer Food Better Business) to meet the needs of the 2006 EU Food Hygiene Regulations.

Took over responsibility for the management of the company whilst still retaining and developing my consultancy and training role. My responsibilities included; business planning and development; sales and marketing, financial issues; recruitment, management and development of staff; development, selling and delivery of new and existing products and services.Due to my activity and expertise within HACCP I became a member of the RIPH HACCP Working Group which has the responsibility for developing and controlling the RIPH national HACCP qualifications.

As the HACCP expert within Verner Wheelock Associates my work included both consultancy and training at all levels from operative to senior management. Designed and delivered the HACCP module of MSc in Food Safety Management at Queens University, Belfast.

Managed entire QC operation in high risk slicing plant, accountable for 6 staff, development of quality systems, transferring quality system from QC to QA, design and implementation of internal audits, daily production meetings, chairing departmental meetings, total responsibility of quarantined stock, monitoring of documentation and due diligence records.

Responsibilities included; total quality of product, day to day running & management of technical department of 6 staff, development and implementation of quality systems, training of line operatives, auditing of suppliers and customer audits.
