I manage a centralized Technical Services Department for a medium sized public library system in North Central New Jersey. Our department is in charge of acquiring, cataloging and processing new library materials for this multi-branch (main +7) system. I have 8 direct reports and 10 indirect reports. Our library system migrated from a DYNIX legacy ILS which had been in place since 1984 to the III Millennium system in 2003. We have been members of OCLC since 1981. Our department catalogs 30,000+ titles and processes 70,000+ volumes per year.

As one of four professional librarians at this small community college library, I was responsible for the provision of reference and bibliographic instruction along with the supervision of the Circulation, Reserves and Interlibrary Loan staff.
