In 2023 I made the decision to challenge and reinvent myself. Pivoting into the world of cybersecurity using my transferable skills of project management. Proves that it is never too late to make a career transition! Over 20 years’ experience working in the education, training, and development field, where I have demonstrated capability and experience leading projects on a senior level. I have shown success in initiating and optimising processes using my ability to quickly identify gaps and needs for improvement and design necessary process flows and structures, considering governance, regulations, multiple stakeholders and the business objective. IMPACT ACHIEVEMENTS AT GIBSSuccessfully organised and facilitated many large complex events over the span of my careerFounded the Career Services Dept, that has developed into a successful career centre with workshops for students, facilitation of an internship programme and organising career fairs etc. Formed the MBA Research Committee along with establishing the processes for MBA research and managing deliverables from over 300 students and 50 supervisors/ markers each year. Appointed faculty and ran over 40 MBA Programme Electives each year. Managed and advocated the content of the GIBS MBA Research Regulations to optimise the processes for all stakeholders and ensure compliance.Mentored and developed junior staff members.Developed and implemented student and alumni workshops to assist and support faculty, students, and alumni.NOTABLE PROJECTS LED OVER MY CAREER AT GIBSDesigned the processes and onboarding system for MBA Research, that considered how to vet and moderate the marks, manage issues, appeals and disciplinary matters.Designed the process flow for the MBA Programme Global Module voting system, applying a game theory automated lottery process. Developed processes, working closely with developers to create and support a successful and customised platform for students to select and bid on MBA electives Planned and led MBA Programme Global Modules annually. This required assisting in designing and organising the visits and events for 13 groups, travelling with the students to the respective countries, managing logistics, problem solving and finances as well as facilitation of meetings.
