I am a strengths-based, person-centered dance/movement therapist driven by the belief that development is a lifelong journey, behavior is shaped by context, and positive growth is always achievable. I am experienced in developing and implementing clinically informed, developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions to foster self-discovery, expression, and integration at both individual and interpersonal levels. My theoretical framework is rooted in humanism, polyvagal theory, and relational cultural theory, which guide me in fostering empathy and connection. These experiences empower individuals to cultivate compassionate self-awareness, develop self-advocacy skills, enhance self-regulation, and build effective communication and positive social relationships. As a lifelong dancer and a passionate dance/movement therapist, I understand that the body is a resource that can empower individuals with authentic expression, self-soothing patterns, and growth-fostering relationships.
