• Project accounting responsibilities for the overall Strategic Capability Charge contract (£1.5bn over 15 years)• Providing overall business Costbase forecast and performance variance. Challenging inputs from site accountants• Responsible for headcount reporting for overall business• Support Senior leadership with overhead forecasting and analysis• Order intake, sales and margin forecasting for the project• Leading the 5 year planning period for the Costbase Area• Submission of Single Source Reporting, annual Cost Certificates and Levy Claims and other MoD requirements (point of contact to MoD auditors)

• Analysis and forecasting of labour efficiency’s, effectivity and utilisation (including over/under recoveries)• Monthly cost base reviews with relevant budget holders, and providing an overall view to the site operations manager. Walk down analysis of cost base spend v budget and previous forecast. Monthly creation of O’s and V’s against forecast• Assisting project managers in the preparation of proposals for investments in order for them to contain all relevant information to enable sign off at board level• Ownership of site fixed asset register, conducting verifications, additions and disposals• Preparation and analysis of monthly stock reports – introducing a dashboard for high level review• Creation and forecasting of monthly stock provision• Creation of monthly capital report, forecasting and analysing monthly spend• 5 Year forecasting for the site for headcount, cost base and estimated labour rates• Financial support to site manager

Responsible for a team of project accountants covering reporting for circa 25 production projects.Responsible for budgeting and forecasting of these projects and financial support to senior management

Covering the financial reporting of a variety of projects over different periods of time from high quantity/low value projects in the engineering area to £100m contracts in the production area.
