Responsibilities: Communicating and coordinating with existing suppliers in China for consolidate Chinese marketing; Assessing suppliers capabilities to chose appropriate cooperate partners for further business development; Managing product development, sourcing manufacturers throughout China to expand the client’s supplier network; Following up product development and aiding in tracing production and monitoring delivery schedules; Conducting quality control and product examination of the fabric and wood venetian products to ensure good materials quality; Liaising between the suppliers sites and the UK to optimize the management of the supply chain; Participating in research and development of wooden shutters guide rail and assisting company’s various materials shutters purchasing, including wooden shutters, aluminous shutters and cloth shutters, etc. Visiting manufacturers sites throughout China whenever necessary to provide assistance to company and clients; Following up product developments and orders in terms of sourcing and solving problems during the process; Preparing a monthly expense report for the accounting of the projects; Organizing UK colleagues’ visiting programs in China and making interpretation whenever there is a need; etc.
