I founded MINT to create the vehicle for lighting design to change our personal landscapes by providing simple, effective lighting solution for family and forever homes. My focus since day one has been to make light and lighting design accessible to everyone. I want people to feel ownership of the lighting solutions in their homes and businesses and to become aware of the many options available to them.MINT helps people to see the value and the transformational power of light that has been designed for the people who inhabit a space.MINT is a collaborative design practice, specialising in lighting design for family and forever homes. Our design philosophy puts people at the heart of every project. We work with Building Designers, Architects, Interior Designers and most importantly, home owners.We believe that everybody deserves to live in beautiful, sustainable and functional light.Public SpeakingI regularly provide expert key note presentations to the public, and for associations that have membership who benefit from a clearer understanding of light and lighting design. I am a regular teacher at Laneway Learning Melbourne, and also provide expert seminars for TAFE.

During my time at Thorn I expanded my design skills by providing my clients with technical support, AGI32 calculations and design advice using the range of products available. I project managed the lighting supply and commissioning of the field lighting at AAMI Park Stadium, and delivered the BioSciences Bundoora project in collaboration with the site contractors. I developed business systems to enhance efficiency and profitability, and was also promoted to Acting State Manager in 2011. I grew up in this business that my father started in 1989. Childhood weekends spent wiring up light fittings and working in the factory eventually came full circle as I brought my business and marketing experience to the company as an adult. Managing alongside my father, I initiated efficiency programs for manufacturing, developed two websites and built an effective client contact program. We manufactured the ELSCO tennis court lights and I worked closely with the Sports Contractors Association to provide valuable technical support for lighting of Tennis Courts and Bowling Greens. We also manufactured an incredibly diverse range of bespoke light fittings, each designed for a particular project, and developed in-house. Light fittings from Towerheath are seen throughout Melbourne's iconic locations and across Australia.
