Light is a creative medium I love. I love the science, the ability to inspire others, the playfulness and the constant learning as technology changes and new design solutions arise. Running MINT Lighting Design since 2012 has allowed me to inspire thousands of people with light and bring transformative light to over 1000 homes and numerous commercial spaces.I founded MINT Lighting Design in 2012, an independent residential lighting design practice specialising in lighting homes. MINT makes designed light attainable to everyone, and has changed people’s expectations of light and the value they place on it in every environment. I have had the honour of serving as the President of IESANZ, being the first woman to receive this prestigious role, and I have presented keynotes and educational seminars around Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. As an expert in my field, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for light and lighting design through public speaking, in-house training for businesses, and through our MINT Light School, which we established in 2019. I also mentor aspiring lighting professionals and am a regular guest lecturer for various colleges such as Collarts, Gordon TAFE, Billy Blue, and RMIT.I consider the opportunity to share the joy of light and the value and opportunity lighting design presents in Interior Design and Architecture as one of the greatest gifts of my career. If you're looking for someone to create the light you want in your home, office, retail or hospitality space, reach out and let's talk about what MINT lighting design can do for you.

2IcTowerheath Pty Ltd Aug 2005 - Jun 2008Melbourne, AustraliaI grew up in this business that my father started in 1989. Childhood weekends spent wiring up light fittings and working in the factory eventually came full circle as I brought my business and marketing experience to the company as an adult. Managing alongside my father, I initiated efficiency programs for manufacturing, developed two websites and built an effective client contact program. We manufactured the ELSCO tennis court lights and I worked closely with the Sports Contractors Association to provide valuable technical support for lighting of Tennis Courts and Bowling Greens. We also manufactured an incredibly diverse range of bespoke light fittings, each designed for a particular project, and developed in-house. Light fittings from Towerheath are seen throughout Melbourne's iconic locations and across Australia.
