Key Responsibilities: Australia & New Zealand entireCore Sales & Marketer Functions:• Responsible for managing key markets to increase revpar for the Islander Resort Hotel & Backpackers • Develop and implement a year on year sales/marketing plan and prepare a 3-month rolling sales action plan• Developing and maintaining business relationships with key stakeholders, associations, airlines, wholesalers, ITOs• On-going market research – competitor analysis, industry trends, comparative pricing and product comparisons• Business trips interstate throughout Australia and New Zealand to source new business and build on existing relationships within the retail and wholesale sector (travelling approximately 1 week in every month)• Liaise with the general manager to formulate rolling objectives and assess achievement of those in the form of monthly sales reports• End of month reporting detailing activities of main wholesalers and following up where necessary• Direct Contract negotiations with wholesale companies such as The AOT Group (Sunlover Holidays), Infinity Holidays (Flight Centre) and Qantas.• Manage and maintain last minute websites• Media planning & buying, print media, live online web promotion, targeted, e mail outs
