Draft and negotiate human resources policies and procedures, including Equal Opportunity and Employment practices, compensation management, benefits management, management development and training, as well as records management practices. Review and analyze appellate procedural rules and requirements. Draft and negotiate employment handbooks and manuals containing best practice policies and procedures. Advise on day-to-day operational compliance matters concerning human resources best practices. Prepare and analyze numerous agreements, including employment agreements, covenants not to compete, and independent contractor agreements. Draft discovery and dispositive motions in various employment matters before state and federal courts. Create innovative strategies for expanding practice, including development of a niche employment and health care practice area.
