I manage and help deliver authority statutory duties to The Wash and North Norfolk Marine Protected Area network, through collaborative working between regulators, local communities, sea-users, businesses and conservation groups.

In this role, I was responsible for the day-to-day management of the Education Programme; this included overseeing costs, funding, budgets and forecasting, ensuring delivery targets were met, producing timely reports to funders, managing monitoring and evaluation processes, and ensuring the communications plan is adhered to. I also co-led/supported the delivery of this Programme.

I am primarily involved with the development/delivery of new citizen science projects; I work to develop high-quality, impact-ful programmes that have clear science, conservation, and educational outcomes, with opportunities for engagement, for a wide range of groups. Notably, the project I am currently working on seeks to explore the impacts of anthropogenic light and sound on wildlife health and human health, taking a co-created approach.I am responsible for carefully planning all stages of project development, which involves running development workshops and piloting activities, in conjunction the Earthwatch learning team. I work to ensure that partnership working is embedded within projects (working with a range of interested stakeholders) and that clear evaluation frameworks are established, including criteria with which to measure short and long-term outcomes. I also contribute to the preparation of funding proposals that support the development of new programmes.Secondarily, I am involved with the development/delivery of the Earthwatch event series, which seeks to communicate with/engage a variety of audiences.This includes making contributions to: the selection of topic-choice and theme-development, speaker selection and relationship management, marketing material content and audience outreach, and supporting event delivery (planning, rehearsals and audience engagement).I also support additional Earthwatch activities, which include: contributions to the development of international research programmes, input into Earthwatch external communications (including the Earthwatch Annual Report and social media), input into academic publications and book chapters (that relate to Earthwatch programme outputs), and attendance at academic conferences, symposiums, and citizen science association meetings.

In this role, I had two main responsibilities: The first, was to create an online fund-raising page for the Ethno-ornithology World Arcive (EWA) group (a collaborative citizen science initiative, developed by BirdLife International, the University of Oxford and Lynx Edicions). The second was to produce a report concerning the recruitment and motivations of bird-hunters, focussing predominantly on Mediterranean countries where illegal hunting is acute.
