Applied newly developed laser-scan technology to examine a new way to measure and analyze geomorphological data in an independent honors research project for the University of Washington Department of Anthropology. The research was conducted to examine published methods for predicting humeral (upper-arm) morphology from incomplete primate bones and fossil casts. Independently generated regression equations to compare with published predictive equations, and utilized a new method for measuring humeral morphology from 3D external laser scans of the study sample.
