With 25+ years of diverse experience in the not-for-profit, exploration, government and finance sectors, I have developed substantial networks with people in many countries, all of whom share my passion for improving exploration and mining operations, through application of best practice R&D. I'm excited to have insight into the challenges faced across the whole of the mining value chain, extending out into the broader ecosystems in which we operate. I am a strong advocate for diversity in the workplace and work to establish networks that support more inclusive communities.Most recently I have been the CEO of the Copper for Tomorrow Cooperative Research Centre Round 24 Bid, a consortium of 54 partners contributing $94m of cash and in-kind support. This consortium was designed to tackle integration and scale challenges across the copper mining value chain. Although the bid was not successful in receiving Australian Federal Government funding, other options are now able to be explored to deliver an even broader scope of global copper-related challenges in ways that are more agile.
