• Responsible for defining & executing HSBCs Brexit technology strategy within Equities & Prime Finance technology. Leading the successful demise of an in-house, heavily customised, legacy UK SBL settlement platform. Moving UK(CREST) post trade processing & settlement to the same platform used by all other markets. Key delivery to streamline SBL architecture. Simplified technology support model & team structure. Simplified upstream trade booking model and improved post-trade operational efficiency.• Defining business case to help secure appropriate prioritisation and funding from the Global Head of Prime Finance• Working closely with the Global Head of SBL Trading, SBL Product Owner and Operations for the duration of theproject• Chairing regular steering committees with senior business stakeholders including Global Head of Prime Finance• Simultaneously driving & delivering other projects including major version upgrade of FIS vendor system, GlobalOneand demise of an additional 2 legacy applications to further streamline the SBL technical estate• Transitioning team from traditional waterfall structure to DevOps pod, adopting agile delivery approach.
