Alamy is a stock photo agency and I joined it as a new media startup in 2001. It’s been a big privilege to have been involved in all aspects of the business as we’ve grown from a startup to a big industry player that pioneered how stock photos are made available to content producers across the media. I’ve been excited to work with art buyers and picture editors across the UK and US in an account management and new business role. I pitch our content creatively with photo research, tailor pitches and proposals, attend meetings, make calls, give presentations and negotiate deals.
