Within my role at SPAR Lisnarick, I am a very trustworthy cashier and retail assistant. I am able to respond to the needs and wants of all customers and deal with any queries and complaints in a polite and professional manner. I am also a Team Leader which requires me to train new staff and to ensure that the staff who am I am working with are completing the required jobs to the best of their ability. I have the ability to check in deliveries and complete stock checks and date rotation. I am also a reliable key holder for the business, this requires me to lock the shop safely at night and open it again in the morning.

I have had a background in agriculture since I was a young child and my interest has continually flourished. This enabled me to purchase my own flock of sheep and due to this I have learned life long skills. My responsibilities include seasonal lambing and calving, as well as providing adequate nutritional diets for the animals, administering vaccinations, medication and supplements. Farming has taught me that not everything happens when it is expected, therefore I must have excellent adaptability skills and be able to think outside the box. This also has enabled me to work well under pressure and use my initiative to jobs that must be carried out on a daily basis. Not only must I care for the animals, but it is vital to ensure the health and safety of myself and everybody to sets foot on the farm. Therefore, I work to the best of my ability to carry out safety precautions to prevent any injury or death on the farm.
