I have a lifelong commitment to the arts and social justice. My primary focus is preventing and ultimately ending domestic and family violence. Addressing domestic, family, relational, and intimate partner violence and abuse requires iterative change, a culture of curiosity, and lessons of the past as vital foundations.I'm honoured to be a co-founder and inaugural Chair of the Independent Collective of Survivors, a community of people who envision and champion ethical engagement to embed and centre of voices of lived and living experience because, while experiences of DFSV do not define us, we carry unique expertise in our journeys. As a writer, consultant, and advocate, I believe our individual and collective stories can shape futures of transformative justice and social hope. My writing has featured in local, national, and international literary and academic publications and events.I'm committed to elevating and amplifying diverse voices and stories, while respecting narrative sovereignty and agency. When we weave together resourcing and opportunities for voices (especially those that may have otherwise been silenced, unheard, or deprioritised), we can evolve systems, processes, and interrupt cycles of harm. I'm grateful to live and learn in Boorloo of Whadjuk Noongar Country (also known as Perth) and pay my respects to Elders part and present. I acknowledge the ongoing survival, wisdom, custodianship and connection with Country of the Noongar people and the many First Peoples of these lands.Do'er of stuff - facilitation, strategic development, teaching, research+ rock climbing, trail running, archery, random adventures when health/life permits.Passions - human rights, social justice, diversity and multiplicities, belonging, community engagement, arts and cultureOpen to consulting and facilitation engagements, part-time executive roles, and board directorship with for-purpose and not-for-profit organisations.Former roles include:* Co-chair, Safer Spaces Initiative- a music industry community-based project to make the music industry safer from harassment and violence* CEO / Executive Director, Fremantle Women's Health Centre- founded as the Multicultural Women’s Health Centre in 1985, thanks to the innovation and commitment of Ronelle Brossard in response to the unmet safety and wellbeing needs of the local community, particularly thoes facing intersecting societal marginalisations* Interim CEO & deputy CEO, Leadership Western Australia- State peak in community and social impact leadership and organisational development.
