JOB OBJECTIVE:To perform tasks and provide services to support the plant’s production goals, overall business plans and objectives.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Work toward the achievement of production goals including minimum spoilage and high product quality.• Perform various manual or mechanical production functions by operating and adjusting production equipment.• Support the Engineering team in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production equipment as required• Disassemble, overhaul, and rebuild production equipment under the supervision of a qualified maintainer• Rotate through workstations as needed for coverage, relief, and training purposes• Maintain and secure work tools, and replenishes supplies required for assigned area• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use• Act as a back-up for other parts of the assembly line, and for the warehouse• Conduct inspection of in-process or finished products• Perform quality assurance checks as required• Operate production machineries as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis • Complie with corporate directives and established job safety practices, policies and procedures for the safe performance of work assignments. *Repair and maintenance of 2-piece aluminum can production machines.*Overhauling of Can production machines with team of expatriates.*Condition monitoring of machines spare parts.*Troubleshooting and ensuring the smooth running of Can production machines to Optimum capacity. *Maintain minimum equipments down time by responding to all plant breakdowns.*Filling of technical report and ensuring that HSE rules are duly followed.
