Piping Engineer
CurrentProjects & Experience:● Knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for Pipe Stress Analysis design work.● Identify di erent stress packages through review of P&IDs / Line Designation tables.● Knowledge of stress analysis software’s like Caesar 2, it’s applicability and interpretation. ● Performs piping flexibility analysis (static and dynamic) for critical piping systems during preliminary design and detailed design phase of Project● Perform analysis for sustained, thermal and multiple operating cases, occasional (viz winds, seismic, relief, hammer etc.).● Perform pipe stress analysis for di erent equipment like Steam turbine, Compressors, Centrifugal Pumps, tanks, exchangers, heaters, columns, Air coolers etc.● Provide pipe loading information to Civil/Structure.● Resolve high pipe loads on equipment nozzles.● Resolve high secondary stresses in piping.● Selection of spring hangers, snubbers, struts for pipe supports.● Locate and identify pipe supports on isometrics along with type of supports.● Evaluation of local stresses via code cases like N318, N392, and WRC107/297.● Prepare complete documentation of the stress analysis and support design.● Participates in reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data from suppliers● Understands role played by other disciplines on the project.1. Crude Oil Refinery Plant:- Solid understanding of various design standards such as ASME B31.3 Process Piping.- 3D modeling of an exciting refinery plant using Laser-Scan device.- Initiate As-built 3D model of Equipments, Piperack, Distillation Tower and all related piping components.- Obtain drawings from finished 3d model such as GA’s, Isometrics and Plot Plan.- Obtain IFC from the client and perform MTO from the 3D model and send it to vendors.
