I have lived and worked in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America. Throughout my career I have moved seamlessly between private, public and social sectors globally.In my professional and entrepreneurial career I have led efforts in strategic partnerships & alliance building, business growth, human-centered design, social impact, fintech strategy, circular economy, digital transformation, socially responsible banking , surgical application of emerging technology, catalyzing future foresight initiatives as well as leveraged my experience in DEIBJ, business development, finance, public affairs, systems change, sociopreneurship, impact investing, and strategic philanthropy throughout the Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America. My expertise has been leveraged by META, IDEO, EY and Dubai government among other change making entities to tackle some of their most challenging global initiatives including scaling social impact strategies, promoting cross sector innovation, financial inclusion, catalyzing purpose driven corporate cultures, and socioeconomic development. I was recently selected as part of the Leadership Accelerator at Rare with Google to promote the work and impact of underrepresented/BIPOC individuals in the creative and technology sectors. I was also selected as an Aspen Ideas Festival Scholar in 2018 for my work with refugees and honored with the Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal Philanthropy Fellowship in 2010. I received my Masters in Public Affairs summa cum laude from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and have been frequently requested to lecture on topics related to scaling alliances and strategic stakeholder engagement, human centered social impact, aligning purpose and profit, innovation in impact investing, crowdsourcing in public policy, future foresights, digital transformation, DEIBJ and co creation in public/private/social sectors. Some of my latest initiatives include catalyzing a strategic financial and sustainability reframe of the Forum on Workplace Inclusion ( One of the largest global DEI focused forums headquartered in Minneapolis for over 35 years) as well as activating Palmwood a design thinking led initiative ( 25 MM USD joint venture foundation between IDEO and Dubai Future Foundation) to promote innovative public policies & socioeconomic solutions in government, private and social sector.
