School Ministries is a national organization that reaches one of the largest mission fields in America – the unchurched children in our public schools. We do it by providing Bible classes to K-12 students DURING THE SCHOOL DAY during what is called Released Time.Local affiliates provide everything with private funding,and it is done LEGALLY as long as:1. Instruction takes place off school grounds;2. It’s voluntary and students have parental permission; and3. No state resources (taxpayer funds) are used Students have opportunity to develop a relationship with Jesus and adult mentors. Teachers see a positive difference in their behavior and academic achievement as well!School Ministries has a strategic plan to rapidly spread the gospel by growing to serve 250,000 new students per year by 2030.

Developed relationships with architectural design firms, engineers, hospitals, manufacturers, military bases, municipalities, and education sectors. Connected potential clients with local Garland Representatives to help provide solutions to building envelope concerns based on long-term performance and the best life-cycle costs for the client’s budget and needs.

Helped students and inmates learn social and emotional life-skills for overcoming obstacles and succeeding in life, with the help of rescued dogs. Raised awareness and gained new individual donors and corporate sponsors through relationship building, marketing newsletters, direct mail, website, social media, presentations, publications, events, and press opportunities. Developed funds through grant research, grant writing, and grant management. Implemented program curriculum by instructing student classes and providing interactive trainings with parents and guardians at schools. Developed web content and for updating website. Provided trainings for replication satellite chapters in other states. Forecasted organizational budgets and oversaw annual tax and audit reports. Developed written and oral financial, annual budget, and programmatic reports for funders, board of directors, and other stakeholders. Managed and trained a team of two full-time and nine part-time staff. Analyzed program data from thousands of participants to determine the effectiveness of our programs through quantitative and qualitative outcomes, as well as best practices and quality assurance in implementation.
