Led several cross functional teams with up to 30 engineers to research and identify root cause of complex technology problems (BEOL, Al, Cu, metalization, Vias, Contacts, PO, Silicide, package integration) and initiate action plans to improve yield and quality. Responsibilities included; 1- analyzing product performance using creative data analysis.

• Technology fan-in; coordinated all aspect of BEOL technology transfer from R&D group to factory. Reviewed and tracked qualification requirements. Initiated and drove continuous improvement plan.
• Project Leader; managed a core team to identify root cause of DPPM level issues in Via Al node. Isolated issue to deposition temperature. Initiated work with equipment supplier on low temp process. Influenced decision.

• Fab startup (TI 1st 200 mm fab); released more than 30 tool sets to production. Optimized process parameters to improve margin and reduce cost. Utilized SPC control to optimize process parameters.
• Led efforts to introduce HSQ (spin on glass) in high volume environment and redesigned the Inter-Metal Dielectric stack to accommodate HSQ. Modeled sources of variation in the stack and implemented dummy metals to.
• Led negotiations and technical discussions with suppliers to improve quality and reduce variation.
