Country Road Group is one of Australia’s largest specialty fashion retail groups made up of five Brands: Country Road, Witchery, Trenery, Mimco and Politix. It employs 6500 people across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa with a rapidly growing digital business.

This role leads the People & Culture function of Dan Murphy’s and Langton’s. In this role I report to and partner the Managing Director of the business and am an Executive on the Dan Murphy’s Leadership Team. Dan Murphy’s is a $4B business with 6000 team members, 227 stores and is Australia’s largest drinks online busines. I lead a team of 12 direct reports and total team of 22 responsible for business partnering, learning & development, change and internal communications.

Responsible for the end to end People & Culture strategy and delivery for Woolworths Group in Asia (China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Bangladesh). This group includes two retail sourcing businesses (Woolworths Supermarkets & Big W), a major drinks distribution business with a direct sales team across Greater China (Summergate Fine Wines & Spirits) and two small wine retail businesses (Pudao and Langton’s East Asia).

In this role, I built an Early Careers talent function to support Woolworths Group in its endeavour to significantly increase its leadership pipeline. This was a Group HR role in which I lead a team of three, responsible for diagnosis, end to end design of development programs, employment branding, talent acquisition strategy and campaigns and participant experience for the Early Careers portfolio of programs.Key achievements include:- Awarded Number 1 Graduate Program in Retail (Grad Australia, 2015)- Australian HR Awards Finalist - Best Recruitment Campaign (2015)- Development of the employment brand 'Dare to Lead'​ which successfully re-positioned Woolworths as a leading graduate employer yielding a 56% increase in applications and significant improvement in conversion & fill rates, well above industry benchmarks. - Named in Top 100 Graduate Employer list (AAGE 2014 & 2015)- Named as one of the Best Graduate Recruitment Process' (AAGE, 2015)- Influenced a 55% increase in annual intakes across programs- Introduced intern programs as a pipeline to graduate programs- Achieved significant strategic partnerships with key universities which yielded measurable results in first 12 monthsOther Responsibilities:Male Champions of Change Implementation Leader

Initially responsible for the design & global deployment of a Global Graduate Program for Orica, I was then responsible for Orica's emerging talent graduate & undergraduate programs and strategic university liaison globally. I lead a global specialist team to deliver the business fit-for-purpose future leadership programs over the full life cycle of resourcing to development. In this role I lead programs throughout Australia Pacific, Asia, Latin America, North America and Africa.

Responsible for the design and deployment of a Global Graduate Program for Orica. This role included end to end management of the Australia/New Zealand graduate and vacation programs including attraction, recruitment, development & retention.
