I have been working as civil engineer at Sweco since 2018 in the field of hydraulics and dam safety. Among other things I have experience of executing consequence analyses of both water- and tailing dams.

In my master thesis I made a CFD simulation (computational fluid dynamics) of the Torpshammar dam. The purpose was to investigate how the structure of the dam affected the flow and the spillway capacity. I learned a lot about fluid dynamics and how you make a good and trustworthy fluid simulation.

Utnarm is Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science students career fair. Before the career fair there was two event weeks that were initiated by a grand opening. The fair hosted 108 companies and were visited by thousands of students. As a group leader for the marketing group I was a group leader for 7 committee members who were responsible for everything that has to do with the marketing of Utnarm: recruitment of personnel, posters, website, social media and so on. As a group leader I supported, lead and discussed ideas with my group. I was also uttermost responsible for the marketing. I did not know much about marketing when I started, but with hard work I have learned a lot!

This is where I learned to sail and made friends and memories for life! I have worked for the sailing camp Malma Kvarn every summer since 2011. The fall 2014 and the spring 2015 I was also in the camp committee and the Malma Kvarn committee. * Vice camp manager and Camp Manager - responsible for the camp, plan everything and delegates tasks to the sailing instructors during the camp. * Cook - decides the menu, manages all purchase of food, delegates tasks to the kitchen staff and cocks food for up to 60 people. * Sailing instructor - teaches a group of 40 to sail with daily theory lessons and practice in the boats.

This is one of the most fun experiences of my life! The reception for Engineering and Computer science students is held every year for the 900 new students that start at Uppsala University. It is held to welcome and create opportunities to meet new friends with different activities during the first two weeks of the education.I was in the reccentior committee as activity responsible. Together with one other, I was responsible for the planning and execution of many different activities during the reception (games, songs, competitions, shows). I lead the other people in the committee (19 people) in all practice of these activities .
