The Centre also provides resources and education to both the Mental Health sector and the community at large through it's website, education services and free public library.I am privileged to have led MHERC through a period of intense growth and increased productivity in the last seven years. The organisation has stepped up since the earthquakes to deliver a vastly increased range of new programmes not only to the workforce in the NGO sector and to the community, but also to a range of organisations looking to increase the wellbeing of their staff and clients. MHERC has also broadened its range of collaborative partners and its geographical reach and is continuing to thrive as 2018 unfolds. Show less

I worked at Design & Arts twice as a Faculty Director - once from 1996-1999 and again from 2002-2005. My major achievement was to more than double the size of my faculty in two years, and to significantly increase the organisation's profits in addition to providing a better quality of education to the students. I was invited to return after overseas travel in 2000 and a period working as a freelance designer for apparel companies in New Zealand and Australia.
