Computer Technician
Current- Conducting comprehensive diagnostics of customers' computers, investigating reported and unreported issues with hardware and Operating Systems- Performing part isolation to determine root cause of performance issues- Performing computer hardware repairs by replacing any defective or damaged components- Troubleshooting Operating System issues, including driver updates and reimaging of storage drives- Installation of latest firmware version on all outbound computers- Conducting comprehensive visual inspection and repair validation on each outbound computer to ensure full functionality and proper reassembly- Thorough documentation of repair process in shop-floor management system, including diagnostic steps, repair process, and testing results- Coordination with various departments including non-technical departments to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of operational procedures
