As the Editor-in-Chief of Visitifinland.com, I oversee Visit Finland's renowned website, catering to an international audience of travelers. Key responsibilities in my role include:- Strategic website development- Creating engaging content that aligns with Visit Finland’s brand and marketing objectives- Managing a multilingual website available in eight languages- Collaborating with external content creators and translators- Contributing to global campaigns like Vesku the Reindeer and Helsinki Happiness Hacks- Utilizing web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and SiteimproveMy engagement with Business Finland is temporary, concluding in December 2024.

My main tasks continued as before in Visit Finland's PR and media team. I was also responsible for organizing our international press and influencer group visits and taking care of our PR actions in China, UAE, and South Korea. I also contributed to Visit Finland’s acclaimed “Masterclass of Happiness” campaign, which received awards at the prestigious Grand One awards and was shortlisted at Cannes Lions.

To my delight, my internship was cut short, and I was offered to continue as the PR and Media Coordinator at Visit Finland.

As part of my studies at the University of Eastern Finland, I interned with the PR & Media team at Visit Finland, within Business Finland's international experience and marketing communication unit. As part of a dynamic marketing duo at Clarion Hotels in Finland, I served as the Marketing Coordinator, responsible for executing marketing and sales campaigns, managing multiple social media channels, designing digital and print materials, and organizing various guest and client events. As a Marketing Assistant at Clarion Hotels Finland, I managed our social media channels, updated the website, and coordinated B2B and B2C campaigns and events. I organized various events both inside and outside our hotels, including the popular Clarion Finland Egg Hunt and our participation in the Helsinki Pride Parade. Additionally, I planned and produced print and digital marketing materials using Adobe InDesign.

In January 2018, I began a new chapter at Nordic Choice Hotels, working in the Welcome Office at Clarion Hotel Helsinki while also taking on a part-time role as Marketing Assistant. My key responsibilities included creating content for social media channels, planning events, and supporting the marketing coordinator with various tasks and functions.

I was part of the team that opened the new Clarion Hotels chain in Helsinki, Finland, working as a Welcome Office Agent. My duties varied daily and included traditional reception tasks such as check-ins, check-outs, answering calls, managing bookings, invoicing, and assisting guests to ensure a memorable stay. My primary responsibility was to maintain the highest level of service, embodying the Clarion passion for guest care. I worked with the Cenium operating system throughout my role.

Following my internship, I worked part-time as a freelance event coordinator, handling event planning, production, and client communication. I coordinated a range of events, from small private gatherings to large-scale customer events.

I worked as an extra for different restaurants (mainly in restaurant Kappeli) and HOK-Elanto shops in Helsinki.Restaurant Kappeli: I worked as à la carte waitress and bartender at the restaurant. I was also involved in organizing various festive occasions such as weddings and student events in the basement space of the restaurant. I also worked night shifts for Kappeli Club. I worked through Staffpoint Oy.

I completed a fall internship in event production in Turku.

I worked as a shop assistant at a convenience store. My duties included customer service, taking care of orders, and the presentation of the products.

As a part of my education at Haaga-Helia, I did my first basic training within the hospitality field at Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna. I spent most of my internship at the front desk, and my duties were to check in and out customers and take care of other customer service tasks. The hotel used the Opera –operating system.

I worked as a newspaper and advertisement distributer.
