I am a dietitian and pharmacist. I love what I do every day. Yes, I love food. I grew up with the memories of food as an act of love and care provided by my family. I love chatting and sharing food experiences with people. This will put a big smile on my face. I am passionate to help people create a happy and healthy life with nutritious food intake. I love to see people enjoy food without the feeling of guilt, dieting or any form of restrictive eating pattern. Most of my clients know what they need to do in making healthier lifestyle changes but continue to struggle or not able to sustain the dietary changes due to multiple factors- emotional, mental, physical, environment or short-term dieting mindset. By creating a rapport, connection and understand their needs, we can work together and create sustainable lifestyle changes and enjoy the process. I am fascinated with human behaviours and constantly learn more about myself and share my experiences with many clients. Understanding our own emotions and behaviours will increase awareness on our eating pattern too. I love eating chocolate and will not stop eating it. In my view, there is no “bad” food, “good” food, naughty food, clean eating or cheat days. Let’s not label food. Food is food. We eat well to nourish our body and feel amazing. I love working together with people to make lifestyle changes. There’s no one size fits all health approach. A person’s health can be impacted by individual behaviour, physical environment, medical care, social circumstances, genetics and biology. I want to create a non-judgemental and safe environment to support people to make any lifestyle changes. I am thankful every day for the opportunity given by my clients to live my purpose in supporting them. I am grateful for them to accept who I am – the authentic me for being honest, open minded, how I share my knowledge with them and consult with bare feet when ever and where ever I can. I also learn many things from my clients too. It’s a two-way communication. Yes, I love shoes but I also love walking in bare feet. It feels amazing and comfortable.
